 EDITOR REVIEW: BILTMORE AREA. An eatery carved out of a Victorian-era stable may seem a bit odd, but this laid-back spot is all charm, done up in the eminently tasteful style that is characteristically Biltmore. The pub-like interior is bright and gleaming, and its proximity to the mansion makes it a good prospect for a casual lunch. Start with black-eyed pea cakes, jazzed up with a corn and red pepper relish, before settling into an Angus beef burger with bleu cheese and bacon. Other considerations include a barbecue sandwich, pot roast, rotisserie chicken, and "everything is homemade" deli sandwiches.
